        Il is difficult to put into words that wonderful feeling of enchantment and incredulity that one feels when watching at his newborn baby. I have tried to do it with my music box Enchantment, created for a couple of new parents from New York. Mom and Dad hold each other’s hands, united and filled with tenderness, they contemplate that little creature in silence almost holding their breath, a single thought: “Because you are there. You really are there”.

    Guardians of my island
        Another article that represents my Sicilianism, dedicated to the coasts keepers, from Augusta to Favignana, passing from Lampedusa and then moving to San Vito lo Capo, hiking up to the top of Strombolicchio to the Montorsoli Beacon, visible to those coming from the continent. My lighthouse, with its essential shapes, represents them all and has become one of the most captivating items in my production.

    A peddler, three wheels and more flavours
        By now, ice cream carts are rare in Italian and European metropolis. They were one of the symbols of products “made in Italy” exported abroad as a consequence of Italian emigration. When a mother from Palermo requested me a music box for her daughter, which would bring her back in time, I remembered an ancient photo I had seen in a café, portraying an ice cream seller and his cart: a vintage yet romantic idea.
